Im going to japan in the summer of 09 and im going to be camping/stealth camping alot i was just wondering the rules of camp fires like i was going to be north of fuji and im just wondering if i can have a camp fire

You can have a camp fire as long as it's inside one of the many camp sites in the Fuji area. Otherwise, a lot of areas do not allow camping itself.

I think I made a mistake. Even if it is inside a camp site, the area you can build fire is restricted. But there are indeed places you can.
