My friends coming to Japan, end of May. They're purchasing JR Railway Pass.
Pls let me know if JR Railway Pass valid for travel from Tokyo to Nikko.
Also, advise where in Tokyo is starting point bound for Nikko.

take a JR Shinkansen at Ueno station. stops at Utsunomiya then change to the JR line to Nikko
