Multiple Kansai Thru Passes 2008/5/1 01:16
I'm a foreigner who will be visiting Japan in July. I understand I can purchase the 2- or 3-day Kansai Thru Pass either before I leave for Japan or I can purchase it once I'm in Japan. Is there a limit to how many 2/3 day passes I'm allowed to purchase? I thought I read somewhere that you can only purchase one JR Pass per trip (I may be mistaken). Just wondering if this is true for the Kansai Thru Pass also?

Thanks!

The Kansai Thru Pass you can buy several times, it is for non-JR transport.
The JR-West Rail Pass you can buy one time per trip in Japan.
You can buy as many 7 or 14 or 21 days JR Rail Pass vouchers ( nationwide for all JR trains ) as you like, but only outside Japan
