Travelling with a Baby in Japan

I intent to travel with a 6 mth old baby in Japan. Can someone advice me if the below is free for the baby :
- travel on the rail/buses/subways
- room accomodation
- entry to attractions
Otherwise, typically what are the charges compared to an adult. Thanks !
