Kamakura-Hakone boardwalk?

My husband remembers reading about a boardwalk that goes for a km or so along the coast, somewhere between Kamakura and Hakone, but we can't find anything about it. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hakone is nowhere near the coast. The closest thing I know to a boardwalk I know in the area is along Enoshima beach, around the corner from Kamakura, part way along the Enoden Line.

Sorry, I mis-spoke - I should have said Odawara instead of Hakone. Thanks for the information!
