how long would it take to walk from kapppabashi dori to ameyoko market roughly or would it be better getting the train

From the southern end of Kappabashi Street to Ueno Station, it is about one kilometer or an easy 15 minute walk. Alternatively it is two subway stations along the Ginza Line.
