Softbank prepaid mobile 2008/5/14 17:53
They mentioned the usage period to be 60 days and upto 360 days after a re-charge. Does it mean one can recharge say in May, use it in May and june, and can recharge again in say October? ie no usage in June-September? Will recharging it in Octextend the usage period to May 2009 or to October 2009? DOes it mean one can use the same phone and number for several years?

I hope it is possible to use a third party prepaid phone cards to make international phone calls using those toll-free numbers.

Your responses will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

A prepaid recharge of 3000 or 5000 yen will last 60 days. If you don't use all of it all, you will lose the balance.

You then have a year (or 360 days) from the last recharge usage, to recharge with another card, or you will lose the phone number, and the phone will no longer work.

So if you recharge on May 1st, it will expire in June 30, and you have until about the following June 25th to recharge again.
This mean that you could use it for a few years, provided that you recharge it on time.
