Financial aid/loans for language school?

I'm planning on attending a Japanese language school early next year for 1 year or 2. My main goal is to eventually enter a Japanese university. But for now, my main concern is obviously money. Is financial aid available? I know the majority of student loans are only for eligible schools, which kind of rules that out. Is there some sort of personal loan that is for situations like this? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just to clarify, I am asking about the language school(which also happens to be a college), not the university. And I am a US citizen.
