where can i rent a musical instrument?

i play in a band an we are coming to japan this summer. rather than paying the fees and bringing out my upright bass i would rather rent one there. what are the best places i can contact?

Most music shops will have the option of renting out instruments, mostly through bigger brands such as Yamaha for example.
The area around Ochanomizu is apparently good for finding music stores.
