Which Shibuya Exit? 2008/5/24 10:58
I was in Shibuya Station, and intended to go out the Hachiko exit, although I didn't really clue in at first where I needed to be, and ended up going out another exit. (to be fair, that was my first day in Tokyo!)

Outside this exit were paths above the road, to get across. Very near was a sloped road with cherry trees on each side, and a 7-11 near the top of this sloped road. I ended up walking to Ebisu Station...

But anyways, which exit in Shibya Station was this?

Thank you.

Probably the East exit- it has a lot of pedestrian overpasses and you can walk to Ebisu along Meiji dori. I was there today actually and walked in that direction myself. There is also a bus terminal on that side- do you remember seeing a lot of buses?

I bet it's the South exit, known by the Moai Statue (Moyai-zo).

Didn't you see this statue there?

The South exit is connected via the pedestrian bridge to Sakuragaoka-cho (which means "Cherry Hill District") mentioned above.

Does that mean I could have gotten there by either the East of South exit?

I didn't see the Moai Statue.
I do remember those pink lanterns at the very bottom of the hill. That is definately it.

Thank you!!
