could someone tell me how much the bus is from JR himeji to the castle.

Are there souvenirs around the area like those you find in kyoto?

100 yen by loop bus.

Yes, there are souvenir shops, but they offer different products than those in Kyoto.

Thanks.

its it usually the case they have souvenir stores close to the shrines or castles. I cant seem to find any of those souvenirs i saw in kyoto in the city areas.

There are only a few shops near the entrance, but if you walk from Himeji castle to the JR station, there is a huge 'indoor' shoppingmall (leftside of the road to the station) with all kinds of shops (also souvenirshops). From the castle to the station is a 15 to 20 min. walk

You can walk there. When you come out of the station. there is a road straight up to the castle.. 10 minute walk. Most people walk
