If you look around the back streets of Akihabara (Electric town), in the computer store area (north east part of Akihabara), you can find second had PDAs there. Often they will be 3000-4000yen.

I'm afraid you can't find decent used PocketPCs such as Axim or hx4700 for 3000-4000 yen. They should be about 20000-30000 yen.

Sofmap Used Digital/Mobile at Akihabara has a wide variety of used PDAs.

Not very cheap, but worth visiting first.

Yes, I too said "used".

FYI, brand-new PocketPCs should cost 30000-60000 yen.

What you can find for 3000-4000 yen in Akihabara back streets are likely to be old-fashioned Palm or Zaurus PDAs, which do not meet the original poster's requirement.

meringue4 is correct. If you are looking for a late model Axim or Hp then be prepared to spend around 30000 yen. Used late model electronics don't usually garner much of a discount.
