Fun for the young in Tokyo 2008/6/3 06:34
So, a friend and I will be in Tokyo for a little over a week. We are going to go the the touristy places and everything. Yet,during the evening, we would like to go to clubs, karaoke bars, etc. We are both under 20 (me being 18 and she'll be turning 19 while we are there). Are there any places we can go to where our age isn't a problem? Also, do clubs check ID often? Thank you.

Clubbing age in Japan is 20 I think, and theyLll probably check your ID/passport. You can, however, find lots of entertainment around Shibuya or Roppongi, and thereLre always lots of bars and gigs going on without age limit.
