Leaving this August from Kyoto with a couple big bags and would like to get to NGO with little hassle as possible. Anyone know of a bus that goes direct to NGO from somewhere in Kyoto city?

Sorry, no direct buses from Kyoto to NGO. You need to come to Nagoya station somehow, then take a bus or train. If you don't mind paying some extra, you can have your luggage delivered to the airport in advance.
