I used to go there when I was very small with my grandparents. My sister and I used to do "Free style" in the big bath. I grow up in Nagoya, now living in NY. I'm taking my daughter and my husband for the first time to Nagoya this summer. I can't wait!
(1) I could be wrong but it doesn't say you need to a over-night customer to use the private bath. I will let you know if I find out.
(2)Take "Neieki (名駅) 22, 23" at Nagoya-station.
(3) No towels are provided
Enjoy your stay in Nagoya!!
