Ask for "kosen-sho" (古銭商; old money dealers" or "kitte-sho" (切手商; postage stamp dealers).

For example
When I had searched by google this store had appeared first. “Nozaki coin”

It’s in the second floor of the building called Nakano broad-way located near to Nakano station of JR Chuo line.

However, I know nothing about the store because I’m not collector.

Nyantaro, Thank you very much!! I will check the place! FYI, I checked their website, prices are a bit strage. some are cheap but some extremly unreasonable. still I will check on spot..

Meringue4, do u know how to specify paper money? since when I check 古銭商 on Yahoo Japan auctions - I get usually coins.

Don't worry. Most old coin dealers should also deal with old banknotes.
