Hi,
Could somebody advise me how to go Mt.Fuji by shinkansen. I can stop in one of the station then take bus up to Mt. Fuji. Because I want to experience bullet train in Japan.
Do have any bus service from one of the shinkansen train station nearest to the Mt.Fuji?
Very appreciate if somebody can help and advise.
Thanks a lot

If you want to include both The Shinkansen (Bullet Train) and Mt. Fuji in one trip I recommend you look at the Sunrise Mt Fuji Tour which includes Bus from Major Hotels in Tokyo to Mt.Fuji, lunch, Hakone Thermal Area, a boat ride on the Fuji Lakes and then the Shinkansen back from Odawara to Tokyo, its priced at 13000 yen I've been on the Tour (in 1998) and enjoyed it. http://www.japanican.com/sunrisetours/FToursKensakuShosai.as...

I brought my parents on the Sunrise tour in April and they didn't visit the Owakudani Valley. I would recommend the Grayline tour instead as the iteneary is more 'substantial'. I tried Grayline tour once and it was pretty good. Plus the time spent on the cable car and the ship ride was longer than Sunrise's. http://www.jgl.co.jp/inbound/contents/fuji.html
