Cameras/ electronics stores are the best place to buy a camera. Airport duty free shops have a very limited choice and staff are as knowledgeable as the ones in Bic Cameras, Yodobashi Cameras etc.

buy a d3 instead and then get the 5% tax rebate when you buy it, bring your passport.
If you buy it from a shop listed on kakaku you could walk away with a D3 for 370,000yen or less.
