Advice on Itinerary

Below is my itinerary for 16 days in Japan.
Day 1:Arrive Kansai Airport. Base in Osaka for next 10 days
Day 2:Osaka-Himeiji Castle-Osaka
Day 3:Osaka-Shirahama-Osaka
Day 4,5:Osaka-Kyoto-Osaka
Day 6:Osaka-Nara-Osaka
Day 7 to 9: Osaka
Day 10: Osaka to Kanazawa
Day 11,12: Kanazawa
Day 13: Kanazawa to Tokyo
Day 14,15: Tokyo
Day 16: Tokyo to Kansai Airport
Intending to buy below passes-
JR West Pass : Day 1-3
Surutto Pass : Day 4-6
JR Pass : Day 10-16
Like to get advice on
- if I've sequence the days correctly to optimise on my passes
- are there better pass combinations ?
I've looked thru the forum link on tpt & this is what I came up with. Anyone up for a challenge ?

If you are in Tokyo at the end of your trip just leave from Narita Airport and save a day of travel back down to Kansai. I have done this several times. Just plan your trip to arrive at one airport and leave from another. You might want to have a little more time in Nara and/or Kyoto.(so much history to see there) But no matter what you do, you will be busy. :) enjoy...
