Bf might buy a Wii for us, but I want to use the Wii Fit in English. Can you switch languages on the Japanese Wii? Or how could he play Japanese games and I play in English? Thanks!

Japanese Wii doesn't have language settings.
I don't think Japanese WiiFit has English mode or vice versa.
