I am writing a story in which some of it takes place in a Japanese school in Tokyo and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Japanese school system: The academic year, average daily schedule, school holidays, what they call their school years (such as first grade, second grade, ect...) anything that would be helpful in making that aspect of my story realistic. That would be great. Thanks
