I'm planning to go Japan with 2 of my friends in mid of Sep for 10 days and hope to cover the places like Hokkaido (3-day), Kyoto (1-day), Nagoya(1-day), Tokyo (2-day) and Hakone (2-day). I'm not sure whether the itinerary is too rush and which place shall we visit 1st... hope someone can advise us. Thanks!

My suggestion:
Enter Japan through Sapporo's Chitose Airport on Hokkaido - (fly) - Tokyo - (train) - Hakone - (train) - Nagoya - (train) - Kyoto - (train) - leave Japan through Osaka's Kansai International Airport.
If you like a slow ravel pace, your itinerary will be too rushed. If you like a quick travel pace, it is okay.

hi uji, thanks for your information. we have booked our ticket to tokyo and also depart from tokyo. we need to back to tokyo on last day, so do still follow the route you have suggested?
