Takayama to Kamakochi?

Hello,
I was wondering what the best way to get from Takayama to Kamakochi is.

From this website it says that there are busses operating from Takayama to Kamakochi until October 19th....I want to go October 20th!
Does anybody know of a way there on this date?

G'day Martin,
I'm hoping to head to Kamikochi and spend a few days hiking and camping from there during the week Oct 20-26. I'd heard that Alpico ran an overnight bus from Tokyo, but that seems to have stopped by that time. Do you happen to know the most direct access to Kamikochi from Tokyo? If that's not your point of departure, then just disregard the question.

From Matsumoto there are still bus/train connection to Kamikochi before mid. Nov., though frequency is less than that in warmer months.
