Hi, My Frommers guide says there is a flea market in front of Kyoto City Hall on the 1st Sunday of the month. Does anyone know if theses are still on and whether there will be one Sunday September 1. If so where is city hall is? What's sold there - the guide says mostly clothing?

its near Oike bridge. There are good kitchen goods plus many shapes and sizes of cups, clothes, japanese books and CD&DVD's.. they are all cheap and usually free just before the sellers return back to home. I am not sure about the date .
