Hi all!
I'm looking for a big bicycle shop somewhere around Yokohama.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Depends on what sort of bicycle you want and your budget. There are many stores that sell bicycles. If you want a typical heavy steel framed bike with a basket at the front, then any place from Don Qixote's to BicCamera will be able to help you.
If you want a quality aluminum frame road or mountain bike, then the best shop is Y's Road. It's located about 500-700m north of JR Sakuragicho station, on the west side of the tracks. You can see the shop if you look out of the right side of JR Negishi line train from travelling from Yokohama to Sakuragicho, and it has windows at the front that looks like the giant spokes of a bicycle wheel.
The other place I highly recommend is Tokyu Hands at Yokohama. It's located about 400m from Yokohama station, out of the southern JR exit, to the west side. Go past the tall oval silver BicCamera, about 100m further. They have a small but reasonable selection of good bikes, and always seem to have some of them on sale. I've bought two bikes there.

Thank you very much for the response!
Last Saturday we bought two at ASAHI bikes, 35 000 yen each.
28'' wheels with road tires, Shimano Altus equipped.
We are happy :)
