Weather/Activities In Hokkaido 2008/9/8 15:26
Hianyone,
I will be travelling with my family to Hokkaido and staying there for a week this autumn, around early October. Main activity areas will be Sapporo and Asahikawa.

I have a few questions which I appreciate someone can help to answer:

(i) How is the wind factor that period? Is it very chilly?

(ii) What is the recommended clothing to wear then? Type of socks/shoes?

(iii) What are the recommended acivities I can expect to find in these two great cities?

No, October is still mild. Even during the nights, the temperatures usually remain above freezing in the cities of Sapporo and Asahikawa.
