I wondered were can I buy unique/local clothing and shoes in Japan that wonft be very expensive. What are the local brands? Ifm going to stay in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima etcf. From my experience in every city, there are the places that you can find gbargainsh; for example gCamden townh and gNotting hillh in London

thanks!

I would think that Tokyo and Osaka (30-40 min. by frequent trains from Kyoto)are the best places for latest fashions in Japan. Camden town is alternative and very touristy and Notting Hill is more and more upmarket so Harajuku/ Omotesando would be somewhat similar. But there are so many shopping areas in both Tokyo and Osaka and so many shops in all sorts of price ranges in each area it is impossible to give names.
