Grocery Shopping in Shiojiri/Matsumoto

I was wondering, where can I get cheap groceries in Shiojiri or Matsumoto. Was thinking of starting to cook for myself, but places like appleland all seem pretty expensive. Are there any of those wholesale stores? Or places that have relatively cheaper imported foods?
