Pottery shops in Toki

Hi, I'd like to visit some of the pottery shops in Toki City on 25th October but the website is very vague regarding the access and transport. Does anybody know if the different shops are accessible by public transport?

It depends on the location of the shops you will visit.

Generally speaking, public transport is relatively poor in suburban cities and you may have to rent a car.

and I thought that this town is a popular destination as they also have a premium outlet. As I don't drive, hiring a car is out of question... would getting a taxi be difficult (as being a foreigner)?

A. On Saturdays, Sundays or national holidays, take Toki Shimin Bus (土
岐市民バス) for Donburi Kaikan (どんぶり会館) and Barden Park (バーデン
パーク) from the station and get off at Donburi Kaikan stop. Note that
the bus doesn't go there on weekdays.

B. Take To-Tetsu Bus (東鉄バス) for Dachi (駄知), Higashi Dachi (東駄知)
or Asahigaoka Kita (旭ヶ丘北) via Oroishi (下石) from the station, bus
stop 1 and get off at Minamiyama Koen Mae (南山公園前) stop. Note that
the bus for Dachi via Asano doesn't go there.

C. Take To-Tetsu Bus mentioned above or for Dachi via Asano from the
station, bus stop 1 or 3 and get off at Dachi stop.

D. Take To-Tetsu Bus for Dachi via Oroishi or for Kasahara Shako Mae (笠
原車庫前) from the station, bus stop 1 and get off at Kama Yashiki (窯屋
敷) stop.

E. Walk from the station.

F. Take Toki Shimin Bus for Izumigaoka (泉が丘) from the station and get
off at Mino-yaki Dento Sangyo Kaikan (美濃焼伝統産業会館) stop. Note
that some buses don't go there on weekdays.

G. Take Toki Shimin Bus for Mino-yaki Danchi (美濃焼団地) from the
station and get off at Shino-Oribe (志野・織部) stop.
