Is the shin-osaka JR station the same as osaka station?
I'm trying to go from Hiroshima to Osaka. The schedule mentions Shin-Osaka, and then mention a different platform mentioning Osaka. I'm confused. Am I changing trains?

Is the shin-osaka JR station the same as osaka station?
No! They are 4 kilometers (or 5 minute train ride) apart from each other. Shinkansen trains to Hiroshima depart from Shin-Osaka Station.
