Hiroshima trams etc... 2008/10/4 16:26
We are planning on travelling from Kyoto to Hiroshima on 3/1/09 to visit the peace park and Miyajima. Is there anything else to see as well?
After arriving at Hiroshima station, what would be the best travel advice? Peace park then miyajima? What tram should we take to get to Miyajima?

Hiroshima has some other attractions, including a rebuilt castle, shopping arcades, a landscape garden, Mazda factory tours and local food.

It depends on the time of arrival and the next destination after Hiroshima.

What tram should we take to get to Miyajima?

Peace park first 2008/10/5 01:48
I would go to the Peace park & museum early in the day. I found it the most moving place I have ever been. I was reduced to tears by the museum, dont get me wrong. I do not regret going at all. I would then go to Miyajima and use the rest of the day to raise my spirits. I found Hiroshima a wonderful bustling modern city. I look forward to going again.

Peace park then Miyajima? 2008/10/5 08:28
We are planning on arriving at Hiroshima approx. 10.30am then touring either peace park first or Miyajima. Is it worth staying at Miyajima till sunset in winter?
