Anything interesting about Yuzawa town besides the skiing? Is it worth a day trip from Tokyo? Does it snow in late Nov like 23rd nov?

Yuzawa's other well known attraction besides its ski slopes are its onsen. In the town center, there might or might not be snow by late November. It is just about the timing when it usually starts snowing.
