Tokyo or Hokkaido (18 - 28 Nov)

I'm thinking of whether to go Tokyo or Hokkaido between the period of 18 - 28 Nov. I was told Hokkaido is less fun to visit during this period. Is it true?

The weather in Hokkaido in November tends to be depressive, but some ski resorts are already opening up. Tokyo comes with much more pleasant weather and autumn colors.

I would certainly recommend Tokyo, unless you want to go skiing.

Tokyo for 10 days is a bit much and Hokkaido would be to little I think. However if you do Tokyo then you could do Kyoto as well. Hokkaido well Sapporo is good for a few days then what? Uji is right about the weather so if you do not sky I would say Tokyo with Kyoto and Nara if time allows. Also think about what you really want out of your trip. But what ever you decide it will be amazing so have fun!
