What times does it get dark in Kyoto in Nov? Planning to go Arashiyama Bamboo groove at about 6pm. Hope won't be too dark to be there.

It already gets very dark here in Tokyo area at 6 pm and it's not at all different in Kyoto.
The estimated time of sunset in Kyoto on Nov 1st, 2008 is 5:03pm.

Even now in October it gets quite dark around 5pm. I'm afraid that 6pm will be just too dark in November...

I'm afraid the sun will have set by about 5pm in November and it will be dark by the time you arrive in Arashiyama.

I suppose everyone saw the advertisement right below the original post and thought that that was the end of the thread, thinking no one had answered this question yet. At least that was what I thought, and that was the reason I posted an answer very similar to what was already there. I'm sorry to have confused this thread.
