Last time I was in Japan I wandered into one of these in Shinjuku in the small hours. I was really tempted to have a go but bottled out of it for two reasons; I wasn�ft sure how you actually got hold of a bat and I was mildly concerned about getting a ball in my face.

Can anyone offer any advice or reassurance for me as when I go back in March I really fancy having a go? I�fm English and I�fve played a bit of cricket so I�fm not totally inexperienced at having a rock hard ball pelted at me with just a lump of wood for defence!
