Hi,

I'll be travelling around Japan for 2 weeks visiting friends and I was wondering if anyone could offer some suggestions of things to do in Koriyama. I'll have 2 days to spend there.

Aizu-Wakamatsu and Kitakata

Koriyama is a good base for visit to Aizu-Wakamatsu and Kitakata, both of which can be reached by JR from Koriyama.

Aizu-Wakamatsu has a couple of sights if you are interested in samurai history
