Hi all,
just after general guidedance as to whether we need to have more money on the trip.
Everything is paid for already, ie Hotel is taken care of, JR pass is taken care off.
We are bringing 300,000 yen with us (2 people) and we will be in Japan for 14 days. Taking that into account, is that enough spending money?? ie for food, theme parks and the regular local suica card fees? And we might buy the odd gifts/presents for ppl from home.

It is 10,000 yen per person and day. That is more than enough for the basic needs of the average traveler with hotels and long-distance transportation paid already.
As for shopping, it entirely depends on what is on your shopping list.
