Japanese people and dogs 2008/11/10 06:45
I was wondering if someone knows if there are some books in english regarding the relationship between dogs and japanese people...
It'd be very useful because I'm searching material for my university graduation thesis.
Thank you!

Kia,

I don't know if this is quite what you were looking for, but you might be interested in the story of Hachiko, a famous Japanese dog. You read the basics on Wikipedia, which should give you some leads on where to find more detailed reference sources.

Please Check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quill_(film)
the film is about a guide dog named Quill and was a 5 handkerchief weepy. Meaning a lovely film that make even tough guys cry. Japanese are just as crazy as Westerners about dogs..
