Hello. I'm going to be getting the Puratto Kodama Economy Plan ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto for my trip, and I've looked up the Japanese website and from what I gather, for online internet bookings they send the 'coupon' tickets to an address in Japan. Has anyone does this? How do you go about using the coupons or tickets they send, do they work like regular reserved JR tickets? Please advise. Also if anyone has any experience with luggage on the trains, is it convenient enough to bring luggage on the train? Thanks. The website: http://www.jrtours.co.jp/kodama/tokyo.html

In this case, I think it easier to just buy the ticket at a JR Tokai or JTB travel agency in person (must be purchased at least one day before departure) than using the online reservation system.
