What transport tickets? 2008/12/7 18:07
Hi, I will be in Japan for 3 weeks in February. I have a JR pass because I am travelling all over the country and will be travelling long distance several times. Most of my time will be spent in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, and because I will be seeing a lot of tourist attractions I want to get a pre-paid type ticket so I can use the other train/subway/bus systems that aren't JR owned. So my question is, would the Surutto Kansai Card be the best idea for travel all over the Kansai region? Or can someone suggest another alternative? Thank you!

The Kansai Thru Pass pays for itself only when you travel to Mt Koya, Himeji or Mt Hiei from Osaka or Kyoto.
