some associations 2008/12/15 22:21
Just suggesting my associations.

First, there is a classic word 朧月 which directly match with "hazed moon".
But I couldn't remember any traditional sword style or master's name
which is relevant to this.
However, the sound and face of this word is regarded to be cool,
so this word is used in some modern writings or mangas.

Second, I come up with a classic word 叢雲, which literally means "gathering clouds",
and this word is often used to depict clouds about the moon (月に叢雲).
Concerning this word,
one of the three sacred imperial treasures (三種の神器)
which come down from legendary ages is a sword,
which is named "Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven" (天叢雲剣).
