Hey I wanted to travel to Lake Kawaguchi to view Mt Fuji, so I searched up some links on found the fee for transportation from around Tokyo, but I noticed it did not list if the buses or trains will be open during the winter. I will be in Tokyo around December 24-31 and wanted to visit Lake Kawaguchi and possibly ride the rope train up to Mt Tenjo?
could anyone please let me know if there are any buses/trains that will be open for service in the winter? I asked my school travel agency and even they were unsure because the website were not clear on this.
any comments or suggestions will be well appreciated :)
