What particle do you use for the word 'on' in Japanese? Do you simply use the particle deha? For example...

I received your parcel on Tuesday.

What are you doing on Christmas Day?

cool_story_bro,

For dates and times, you should use the particle "ni".

no one-to-one correspondence 2008/12/19 19:33
Translating words depends on its nuance and usually you cannot find one-to-one correspondence.
This problem is much problematic for those words with many nuances,
and particles is one of the extreme example.

In addition to that Dave points out that for dates and times "ni" is used,
more basic usage of "on" to show a relative location of things where one thing is set upon the other,
would be translated like "no ue ni"
