Preparations for Oirase Hike

Thank you in advance for your help. I'm planning to go to Lake Towada for a day and was planning to hike Oirase Stream. I was just wondering if there was anything that I needed to bring and things that I should watchout for. This will be my first self-guided hike so I'm a bit nervous. Thank you again.

The walk itself is very easy. No preparations needed.

Transportation and eventual accommodation should be planned in advance.
