Hey im a Japanese national but was born in England and because we could not hold a dual nationality my parents had chose japanese as my nationality and england as my citezenship. my question is would i be able to work in japan? would i need any extra's like visa and things ?

For the most accurate answer on this topic, contact the Japanese Embassy in London or your nearest consulate.
Citizenship and nationality are for all practical purposes the same thing, by the way. Do you have a Japanese passport? If so, you can work and live in Japan like any other Japanese.
