ice breaking cruise in early march?

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows what is the difference between the 2 ice breaking cruise. i'm trying to decide which is a better choice.
Aurora-gou, (Abashiri-city)
Garinko-gou, (Monbetsu city)
i'm spending 5 days in east hokkaido and is planning to do the ice breaking cruise, either Shiretoko NP or Daisetsuzan NP, Lake Akan, Kushiro. i'd also like to spend 1 days either sking or on the snow mobile.....i'm thinking at furano and finally end up at sapporo.
i'm not sure if this is too ambitions since i have not looked up the driving distance yet. need to add that i will be there in early march.

The most obvious difference is the location: Abashiri vs. Mombetsu. Mombetsu is more time-consuming to access than Abashiri. Apart from that, I don't think that there are major differences.
