Dave,
I recall that Michael Jackson made a private (after-hours) visit to Kiddyland and Bic Camera, so maybe that story got exaggerated along the way.

Thanks for your help Dave, but it has to be a Film Star It could be from as far back as Shirley Temple because of the sale of her toy dolls, up to something to do with the film Toy Story these are just hunches, but proving it is a another thing. I understand that it was a specific award, a bit like being given freedom of a city and it was all toy shops in Tokyo. I was hoping someone in the toy world might remember. Thanks again for your reply
