Trip noboribetsu to Akan park

We'd like to go from Noboribetsu to National Akan Park by car, is it possible to do it in one day ,stay 2 days and return to Tomakomai in one day and get the ferry Taiheiyo?
We have short time, Which park is the best: Daisetsuzan or Akan ?

It estimate it to takes about 5-6 hours to drive from Tomakomai to Lake Akan.
So, yes, your plan seems possible.

I think it comes down to personal preferences.
I prefer Daisetsuzan because it is bigger, wilder and more beautiful. It offers some of the best hiking of Japan. Akan is smaller, more developed and offers less hiking.
