The word for "anger" would be "ikari." But may I know why you would want it in katakana or hiragana? It would not really be written in hiragana normally, and seldom if ever in katakana. As the word "ikari" also has other meanings (the same sound, multiple meanings), if you are trying to use it graphically (on a poster or something, I don't know but just trying to imagine what you might want it for), kanji might be better. Kanji stands for the meaning.

it's for something that doesn't have kenji availiable, only katakana and hiragana.

OK. Then you can write いかり (hiragana). イカリ (in katakana) looks somewhat strange, so I would advise against using that.
怒 in kanji would convey the meaning perfectly though :)
Another meaning of "ikari" is "anchor" (of a ship), by the way.
