Hi, Im making a really short trip to the 3 cities mentioned above in a weeks time. Its my first trip to japan and am getting very confused with the many options.
My intention is to take a train directly from Chubu International Airport to Kyoto directly, staying there for a night before taking a train to Osaka for 2 nights visiting Koyasan, then back to Nagoya.
Am currently considering getting the Surutto Kansai Ticket.. is this the best option for me?
Because i understand that my trips from Nagoya will be on the JR train, thus i won't be able to use the Surutto Kansai pass.

My intention is to take a train directly from Chubu International Airport to Kyoto directlyA transfer of trains is required at Nagoya Station along the way. Am currently considering getting the Surutto Kansai Ticket.. is this the best option for me?It would be a convenient ticket for your days in the Osaka/Kyoto/Koyasan region, although it might not completely pay off cost wise. Regular tickets in combination with a "Koyasan Free Servic" could come cheaper: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_012.htmlBecause i understand that my trips from Nagoya will be on the JR train, thus i won't be able to use the Surutto Kansai pass. The pass is only valid in the Kansai region, which does not include Nagoya.
